Recruitment of Junior Editorial Board Members

Journal of Translational Genetics and Genomics (JTGG, Online ISSN: 2578-5281) is an international open-access, peer-reviewed journal. In order to motivate young scientists in this field, the Editorial Office of Journal of Translational Genetics and Genomics is now recruiting global Junior Editorial Board members through self-recommendation and selection by the Editorial Board.

The aim is to provide a scientific exchange platform for more young scholars in the field of genetics to share their research results and participate in academic discussions with peers in the field. All members of the Junior Editorial Board will have the opportunity to work with world-renowned experts to build an international academic platform and thus promote global collaborations in genetics and genomics.

Recruitment Eligibility

Having a doctorate degree or above;

Research background in the field of genetics and genomics;

At least five articles published in peer-reviewed international journals in the last two years;

An age of 45 years or younger;

Actively involved in scientific research and passionate about building world-class academic journals in genetics and genomics.

Responsibilities

Contributing at least one high-quality original article or a review article to the journal during the tenure;

Participating in peer-review works of the journal at least twice a year under comprehensive quality control procedures;

Publicizing and promoting the journal at academic conferences and among peers;

Providing suggestions and guidance for the development of the journal.

Term and Evaluation of Junior Editorial Board Members

Term of appointment: two years. According to the completion of annual tasks, the next youth editorial board members will be dynamically selected.

Evaluation: The Editorial Board will conduct an annual evaluation based on the work plan formulated at the beginning of each year, and the candidates with outstanding performance will be re-elected.
